Learner’s Permit and Burberry Place

POWER, Itanium, Niagara: Superscalar vs. VLIW vs. Simple Multicore

Lesson learned today is that EPIC(Explicitly Parallel Instruction Computer) is VLIW, and that the Intel Itanium is a completely different instruction set from x86.
